Mishicot - A bright future
The Mishicot Basketball team surrounding Kensington Rosenow after scoring her 1,000th point in Tuesday night’s game against Sheboygan South at home.

On December 16, 2025, Mishicot High School senior Kensington Rosenow scored her 1,000th point against Sheboygan South. Rosenow went into the night needing to score 17 points. She scored her 1,000th point in the last three minutes of the game, shooting her three-point shot from the volleyball line. Rosenow ended the game scoring 21 points. Though Mishicot lost the game, Rosenow had many friends, family, and other supporters who attended the game and helped her celebrate.
Rosenow has been playing basketball since third grade and, since then, has put in tremendous amounts of extra work. Whether that’s practicing on her own time, playing with AAU team Wisconsin Blaze, or even just picking up a basketball in the off-season. Her hard work and dedication have led to something great.
During the last season, Rosenow was honored as first team all-conference and hopes to achieve the same recognition this season. Rosenow now stands just two points away from the previous player, Julie Wojta, who is in the top three in the all-time leading scorers of Mishicot High School. Rosenow will further her career at Quincy University, playing Division 2 basketball at the college level.
