GREEN BAY – The Denmark boys’ soccer team is enjoying its time back as a varsity sport. The Vikings went on the road for the second straight time to start their season and came out with a convincing 10-1 win at Green Bay West on Thursday.

DENMARK – The Denmark girls’ golf team won its three-team North Eastern Conference mini-meet at Twin Oaks G.C. on Tuesday, finishing with a 206 total to knock off both Freedom (210) and Wrightstown (223).

DENMARK – When the scoreboard clock hit zero last Friday night in the football season opener between Denmark and Shawano, there wasn’t a whole lot not to like about what you saw on the field if you were a Denmark Vikings’ fan.

Denmark finished 10th overall at the Seymour Thunder Invitational on Thursday, but were the third-best Division 2 team behind conference opponents Seymour and Wrightstown.

DENMARK – Nothing typically comes easy for either team when Denmark and Manitowoc meet in Shoreland League baseball action, and so it should come as no surprise that the best-of-three postseason semifinal matchup between the two teams is no different.

DENMARK – For athletes, there is nothing like coming up big in big moments. Needless to say, Denmark Devilbears pitcher Reece Piontek did just that during Monday night’s first game of the best-of-three series against Manitowoc in the Shoreland League playoff semifinals.
