Gritty performance gives Denmark boys first win of season

DENMARK — After three straight losses to start the season, the Denmark boys’ basketball team needed a win.

Faced with another challenge staring them in the face last Friday night, the Vikings (1-3 overall, 1-2 North Eastern Conference) found a way and gutted out a 39-31 victory over NEC foe Waupaca.
