After Prohibition ended in 1933, which had banned much of the production and sale of alcohol throughout the United States, the country experienced a resurgence in the amount of breweries. Denmark gained its own brewery shortly after the end of Prohibition. The Denmark Brewing Company was incorporated in 1933 and commenced operations in 1934.
