After standing for nearly a century in Hebel’s Corners, the former Wauters’ General Store was torn down in 2000.

Hebel’s Corners was a crossroads community located at the intersection of County Highway X and County Highway NN. Wauters’ Store stood on the southwest corner of the intersection across the street from Circle Tap.
