Denmark holds off Valders to reach sectional championship

DENMARK – The Denmark Vikings moved within a game of a trip to the state tournament in Madison with a tense 56-49 victory over perennial title contender Valders on Thursday night in the sectional semifinal at Chilton High School.Denmark will take on the Freedom, 58-47 winners over Wrightstown, on Saturday at Appleton North in the sectional championship.
