ECC Bake Sale An Important Ingredient of Community

By Charles Collier, The Denmark NewsOn Tuesday afternoon, students from the Early Childhood Center’s summer program took to the sidewalk to sell baked goods as part of their community learning. Students in the program learn about the importance of being a good neighbor and helping the community they live in.All funds raised from the bake sale go to community groups and causes, such as the Denmark Volunteer Fire Department and Community Cupboard in the past.
Vikings Travel to Freedom Friday, Open 2016 Season

With all of that visible, it's clear to say the team has a chip on their shoulder headed into this season.

Denmark Municipal Garage Officially For Sale

While the Village has been taking calls regarding the listing, a preferred price had not been set.Using comparable municipalities and a valuation from Keystone Appraisal, the Village Board set the price for the garage at $65,000, as-is.

Girl’s Soccer Wins AnotherLITTLE CHUTE 2DENMARK 4There was a lot of action in the first half to give Denmark their eighth win on the year on Thursday, May 5th. All six of the game’s goals were scored in the first half. Elizabeth Bekkers scored two goals and assisted one in the Lady Vikes’ victory.
